Delivery is free in UK Mainland for all orders over £99.

Shooting Sports UK standard delivery charge for the UK Mainland is based on a flat rate of £4.99 on all standard delivery options (Excludes the Channel Islands & The Scottish Highlands) so, you'll pay the same low price for delivery on all items. * The correct delivery charge will show in your basket prior to purchase so you are fully informed before you order.

Shooting Sports UK can only deliver goods to you in an approximate period. We always aim to dispatch the same day and get your goods delivered to you within a period of 3-10 working days from time of order on all standard delivery options. Some products may have a specific delivery requirement which may mean that our standard delivery times may have to be extended. However, we always advise our customers should this situation occur.

 

For small items, we use Royal Mail,  if you are out or miss your delivery  your goods will be taken back to the relevant (Local) Royal Mail Sorting Office and a ‘missed delivery card’ will be put through your letter box with contact details to enable you to arrange to have your goods re-delivered or to arrange to collect the parcel yourself. (This service may not provide tracking details)

For larger items, we use Parcelforce and you will be advised of a consignment note number shortly after your goods have left us so you can track the delivery of your items 'on-line' with our specified courier. (Tracing numbers may not be live until 12h after the parcel was dispatched)

If for some reason parcels are required to be redirected, then a new additional charge of £10.00 will be incurred (where applicable). Also, if goods are refused delivery without prior arrangement a charge of £10.00 will also be incurred. This list is not a full and exhaustive list and other reasons may apply.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

Shooting Sports UK can only deliver goods to you in an approximate period. We always aim to dispatch the same day and get your goods delivered to you within a period of 3-14 working days from time of order on all standard delivery options. Some products may have a specific delivery requirement which may mean that our standard delivery times may have to be extended. However, we always advise our customers should this situation occur.

In addition to the above information If your delivery address is outside of the UK you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any such additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. You should note that customs policies vary widely from country to country. The Shooting Sports UK advises each customer to contact their local customs office for further information if they are in any way unsure of local duties or liabilities. Cross border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities which means some packages maybe opened and re-sealed.

Due to licencing we DO NOT offer the following products on our international delivery service: Rifle Scopes, Thermal Imaging, Night Vision, Firearms, Sound Moderators, Ammunition. Any of these items found on a order will not be sent and a refund will be issued. All other items will be sent.

Please note some manufactures will no uphold warranty on products if the buyer brought the item from another country

Free Click + Collect

 

Click + Collect is available on all items that are held in store only. Some non-stock items are available for Click +Collect with longer pick up periods.

To guarantee availability of your items at our store for Click + Collect Please contact us 24h before the stated pick up time. Once your order is ready for collection a member of our team will contact you via the phone number and/or the email you provided.

Please do not make a journey unless you have had a guarantee from Shooting Sports UK. In the case that some items are available you will be advised when you can collect these items, or you can hold your items with us until the whole order is available.

For same day collection (where applicable) the order must be placed before 4pm Monday to Saturday.

 

Click & Collect now available on all in stock ammunition​

Delivery is NOT available on this item you must select Click & Collect at the checkout or the order will be cancelled

Click & collect is strictly only available to customers who can provide the following before or at the time of collection.

• A valid section 1 firearm license with the ammunition that has been ordered displayed and valid on that license.
• Photographic id
• An order confirmation invoice or our email conformation.

If all the above are not present we reserve the right to refuse the sale at that time or cancel the order.

If the quantity of ammunition on the license is exceeded, we reserve the right to refuse the sale at that time or cancel the order.

How much does Click and Collect to store cost?

It's Free! Our Click and Collect service to our store is Free of charge.

 

how will I know when my order is ready for picking up from the store?

After placing your order online, we will keep you informed throughout the process by email and our staff will call you to let you know your order is ready for collection.

 

Can I pick my order up from the store same day or next day?

Yes, providing you have had confirmation from us

 

What if I want my order quicker than the quoted Click & Collect timescale?

If you need your item quicker, please call our  store to check that they have stock before travelling and you can then make your purchase in-store the same day. Alternatively, if it is before 2.30pm Monday to Thursday you can still select, and pay a small charge for the convenience of, next day home delivery via our website or arrange next day delivery.

 

Are all items on the website available for Click and Collect?

There are a small number of particularly large items or some that require special order that we need to exclude from the Click and Collect service, you can still order these items for home delivery.

 

What will I need to bring with me when collecting my order from your store

To protect both the customer and Shooting Sports UK against fraud your confirmation email and the payment card used to place your Click and Collect orders must be presented in-store to validate the order before goods can be released.

 

What happens to uncollected Click & Collect Orders?

Due to limited stock room space we will hold Click & Collect orders for 14 days in-store. You will be notified when your order arrives in-store. If you cannot collect your order within the 14 days, please notify the store and they will agree to hold onto your where necessary. If we hear nothing from the customer, after 14 days, uncollected Click & Collect orders will be refunded to the original payment type and the parcel will be returned to the warehouse.

 

What happens on Bank Holidays?

Please note that during Bank holidays your Click & Collect order may take additional time. We will keep you updated via email and your local store will contact you once the order is ready to collect.

 

Drop Ship

These products are dispatched direct from the manufacturer on behalf of Shooting Sports UK. In most cases they will arrive separately to any other items you have ordered. This is a third-party service so we cannot guarantee exact delivery times, if you need to return or exchange your product please return the items to Shooting Sports UK

 

Special Order Items

These are products which aren't always kept in stock or are tailor made. Special Order Items can have extended delivery timescales so for more information please see the individual product pages for specific delivery estimates.

 

Only availible in store

These items normally require Identification (Passport) or a firearms / Shotgun certificate before they are handed over. Shotguns, Rifles, Airguns and Moderators are usually good examples. When purchasing an “Only available in store” item you are in effect paying a deposit for your goods. In most instances you can choose to collect your item from our store or if It's a firearm you can collect it from a 3rd party gun dealer. The latter may be at an additional cost to yourself.

Pre Order Items

These are usually items that are new and not on the market yet or going to be out of stock for several weeks or are in short supply. By purchasing a Pre-Order Item, you are in effect paying a deposit for your goods. As soon as the item is in stock yours will be dispatched within 24 hours where possible. Please see individual product pages for current back in stock dates or enter your email address into the notify me box next to the product listing. In rare occasions these dates can be changed by the manufacturers, so we recommend staying in contact with us once a month depending on the product lead time.

 

Age Restricted Items

Shooting Sports UK will not deliver any items that are age restricted without first being satisfied that the person receiving the items is over 18. Shooting Sports UK use Parcelforce age verification service. We will ask for Proof of ID before we package an item and Shooting Sports UK reserve the right to cancel an order if we believe the ID is false.

Parcelforce also reserve the right to decline any delivery where no ID can be produced. If a parcel is returned it will incur a cost of £10. Please find below a link to Parcelforce’s full terms for age related products. THIS MUST BE READ

Remote Gun Sales and Transfers 

Due to legal reasons £10 has been removed from the total value of the goods in the cart, we have done this as we cannot take payment in full for firearms and shotguns until we receive a copy of your photo ID proving you are over 18 and or a valid Shotgun / Firearms certificate for section 1 and 2 firearms. Once we receive a copy of your photo ID we will take the £10 balance on the goods to complete the sale, this is usually done by card over the phone. Please note, ensure you have entered a valid phone number as this is the quickest way to contact you to save any unnecessary delays. If you are purchasing a shotgun or firearm online you will be required to send your licence to us via post, so we can fill in the relevant tables and complete the sale.

- You must be over 18 years of age and possess a current UK firearms / shotgun certificate with authorisation and free slots to purchase the selected products
- You understand the goods need to be shipped to another RFD or collected in store
- You agree to pay the transfer fee directly to the RFD you are collecting the firearm from (This is usually around £25)
- You acknowledge and accept that there may be a few days delay before the goods can be sent to the receiving dealer while the receiving  RFD is contacted and verified.

1 - After you have ordered the goods you are required to post your original shotgun/firearms certificate (as appropriate) to us at:

2 - Upon receipt of your certificate we will check authorisation and then ring and take the £10 balance on the goods to complete the sale.
3 - We will then endorse the item(s) being purchased on to your certificate and notify your licensing authority of the purchase.
4 - We will ship the goods with your completed certificate enclosed to your RFD for collection as soon as we can, usually the same or next working day (excluding Friday & Saturday)
5 - You are required to notify your licensing authority of the purchase, to do this simply sign and post/email the already completed Form 11 notification enclosed in with your certificate.

Shooting Sports UK reserve the right to cancel any order without prior contact if we have any suspicion of wrong doing or the transaction is unlawful even if its no fault of the included parties

 Exchanges

If you would like to exchange your on-line order we will gladly despatch your new order for you free of delivery charges (subject to specific product & delivery requirements), but we do ask that you return your unwanted items to us first at your own expense. Any items that you return are your responsibility until they have been officially received at our warehouse.

 

 Cancelling your order

If you want to cancel your order, you have 14 working days from placing your on-line order. All unwanted items should be accompanied with a copy of the original invoice (proof of purchase) and a brief explanation for the reason of return. The items (in the case of unwanted items) should be re-packaged to a satisfactory enough standard to protect the original product packaging and returned to us in a condition suitable for re-sale. We will only accept returns from the person who bought the item.

 

 Faulty Goods

We quality check all our products before they leave our warehouse but if for whatever reason a product is faulty please email us as soon as possible at sales@shootingsportsuk.co.uk briefly explaining the fault and whether you want us to replace or refund your order. We will ask you to return the item (where applicable) to us using proof of postage. Upon receipt at our warehouse, we will check the product and if deemed to be faulty, a full refund including all delivery charges incurred will be issued.

 

 Refunds

Refunds will be credited to the customer promptly by the same means of the customers payment. We will only refund delivery costs if the return is a result of supplying the incorrect product or the item is faulty.

 

 

 Returns

In the unlikely event that the goods supplied are not what you expected, you must return them to us in an unused and unsoiled condition, complete with their original packaging, within 14 days of receipt. To return your goods you must contact us by email on sales@shootingsportsuk.co.uk to request a returns form.

If goods returned are not in a re-saleable state, then we may decline your exchange / refund request. If you provided your email address at time of ordering, you will be sent an email to notify you of receipt of your returned goods.

Item must be unworn & unwashed (no distinct odours, blemishes, signs of wear etc...) Items covered in animal/human hair will not be accepted. If you've asked for an item which is more expensive than your return, we will contact you upon receiving the return to process the additional payment.

*Important notice, we always require a copy of your original sales invoice along with your completed returns form accompanying your returned goods. Failure to follow this procedure may result in a delay or refusal of your refund or exchange.
