Who We Are
Shooting Sports UK is a family business built around a genuine love of shooting and the outdoors. We shoot, we stalk, we work our dogs, and we spend as much time as we can in the British countryside — so when it comes to the kit we sell, we know it from first-hand experience. That's not marketing copy; it's just the truth.
We founded the business in 2017 with a straightforward idea: create a shooting retailer that stocks quality products across every discipline, gives honest advice, and treats every customer as a fellow enthusiast rather than a transaction. Eight years on, that philosophy hasn't changed — and it's what keeps people coming back.
We are a fully licensed Registered Firearms Dealer (RFD), compliant with all UK firearms legislation. Shooting Sports UK Ltd is registered in England, company number 10608896.
Our Stores
We operate two stores in Staffordshire, each set up to serve a slightly different part of the shooting community. Both offer free parking and a genuine welcome — walk-ins are always appreciated.
Stretton — Main Store
Our flagship location, sitting on the Stretton estate in south Staffordshire — just minutes from the M6 at Junction 12. The store carries our broadest range of products across all categories, and is where the majority of our in-person services are based.
We have ample on-site parking, customer facilities, and genuine countryside on the doorstep if you want to try optics in real-world conditions before you buy.

Our second location is based at Oakedge Shooting Ground — one of Staffordshire's best clay and game shooting venues. The store is open to all customers, whether you're shooting at the ground or simply looking to browse and buy. You don't need to be using the ground to visit.
We stock a focused range of ammunition, eye and ear protection, clothing, and accessories — ideal for picking up what you need before a session or browsing for new kit at any time.

Scope Mounting & Zeroing
Professional scope fitting, torque-tightened and bore-sighted. Zeroing service available on request.
Gun Servicing & Repairs
Air rifle, shotgun, and rifle servicing by our gunsmiths. Enquire in store or by phone for timescales and pricing.
RFD Transfers
As a licensed RFD we can receive and release firearms bought online, at auction, or through private sale. Call for details.
